Background
Chris is a Registered Psychologist with over 18 years of experience in mental health. His qualifications are BHons (Counselling Psychology), MA (Social Anthropology), BSocSc (Philosophy), Dip. (Integrated Therapeutic Counselling) and MAAPi.
He has worked in psychosomatics and psycho-oncology, with clients across the age span and from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds, including over a decade with a childhood cancer support organisation and managing a psychosomatic hospital ward overseas.
Chris has also worked in conflict and humanitarian crisis zones as a humanitarian researcher and human rights worker, engaging with armed actors, local government and non-government actors in Southeast Asia.
